In search of guest speakers.

Do you know a guest speaker who would be willing to share their expertise with our members at one of the QAAP-AQPL general meetings?  Or are you yourself interested in presenting?  We are continually looking for individuals who would be willing to educate our members on subjects related to the following:

• recreation ex. benefits, profession, etc.
• assessment, ex. forms, updates, relevance, etc.
• activity ideas, stimulation, techniques
• disability
• disease ex. Arthritis, ADHD, MS, AD, etc.
• disease prevention
• alternative therapies
• creative arts (i.e. music, dance, art therapy)
• adapted exercise, sport, equipment
• certification and standards of practice
• wellness
• community resources
• services for caregivers
• any other related subjects

Speakers will be contacted and booked by the President of QAAP-AQPL.  Speaker sessions are intended to maintain, upgrade, educate, and create awareness among the members of our association.  Speaker sessions will last approximately 1 hour including a 15 minute question period.  Ideally, speakers will participate on a "volunteer" basis, however they will be given the opportunity to promote themselves and their work to our membership.  Interested candidates should fill out this form and submit their candidacy as a QAAP-AQPL guest speaker!  We encourage you to share your resources and qualifications by enriching the educational knowledge of all QAAP-AQPL members!
