TITLE: Treasurer

JOB SUMMARY: The Treasurer is responsible
for all financial issues with regard to QAAP/AQPL.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Attends all executive & general committee meetings.
• Actively participates in executive committee decisions.
• Has the right to vote on executive committee decisions.
• She/he helps to develop/revise association policies.
• Co-signs cheques for expenditures.
• Has custody of the funds and securities of the association.
• Deposits all monies and receipts and disbursements.
• Is responsible for petty cash.
• Renders a financial statement at each executive committee meeting
and general meetings.
• Deposits cheques and monies associated with the finances of
the association.
• Provides an annual Financial Report to the executive committee
and all active members re: the previous years’ activities.
• Is responsible for all promotional products i.e. ordering, payments
etc.
• Carries out all other duties required to fulfill the position.
