JOB SUMMARY: The Membership Coordinator
is responsible for issues related to QAAP/AQPL membership.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Attends all executive and general committee meetings.
• Actively participates in executive committee decisions.
• Has the right to vote on executive committee decisions.
• She/he helps to develop/revise association policies.
• Co-signs cheques written by the QAAP/AQPL Treasurer for expenditures
(as required).
• Maintains an updated list of all members. This includes: name,
membership number, e-mail/FAX number, membership status (Professional/Associate
or Student), renewal status and photo/email sharing status.
• Sends out all membership letters and cards.
• Provides an updated active membership list to executive committee
members as needed.
• Picks up mail at the associations’ post box (open 7 days
week, 24hrs day) on a weekly basis. The VP takes over this task during
the workshop registration period.
• Deposits cheques at any Bank of Montreal and sends the deposit
slip to the Treasurer.
• Processes membership forms.
• Carries out all other duties required to fulfill the position.
